The Beginning of The End

Hola a todos! I hope you are doing well. This past week (and transfer, actually) has gone by super fast. We started off the week with exchanges with the Westminster Elders. I got to go with Elder Starr, who has been one of my best friends on the mission since we were trained together in Frederick. He's an absolute spiritual giant and I learned a lot from his example. Apart from that, with the closure of this last week, my companion and I have started our last full week together. This Saturday we will find out who will be joining me in Hagerstown for the next couple of transfers.
This last week we also had interviews with our mission president. We talked a lot about the famous song "If the Savior stood beside me." I think this is going to be my focus for this next transfer. When we imagine the Savior Himself by our side, everything about our conduct changes. Would we sloutch when we pray? Would we humbly apologize and take the blame before accusing others? Would we let some of those words come out of our mouths? It doesn't mean that we are going to be perfect in any way, but when we imagine our Lord with us in every scenario, conversation, and day, we change a few of the things we do. I would like to invite you imagine the Savior beside you and to let that affect how you act. Try it for just one day and you will find that peace and the spirit will abound in your life.
In my studies I've learned that I don't know very much haha. I've been studying recently the plan of salvation and the immense level of depth that accompanies it. I do not think we will ever truly comprehend or understand it in its entirety, but we are given a knowlege of this plan as a means to understand why we are here and receive a peace to know where we are going. Please know that our loving Heavenly Father has a plan. Know that He loves you. You are divinely created sons and daughters with an unimaginable potential. Please step out of the way of the Lord's will. At the moment of Christ's suffering he cried out "Nevertheless not my will, but thine be done." Let God prevail in your life. Let Him become the cornerstone and foundation upon which we build our lives.
