- Halloween and Miracles

Hola a todos! I hope this email finds each and every one of you well. Man this last week has gone by impossibly fast. In fact, this entire YEAR has gone by impossibly fast. Time on the mission is quite possibly one of the stangest things ever.
Apart from flying by incredibly fast, it was a good week. I feel like this last week we saw a lot more progression in a lot of the people that we are teaching. This also was one of the busiest weeks of my life. It felt like every second of every day we were just sprinting around. I love a good hustle.
I want to express my appreciation and admiration for every mission president in the world today. This last week we had interviews with our mission president, President Nye. I've come to appreciate the effort and sacrifice that is necessary to serve as a mission president. And I love President Nye. He has helped me grow and develop as a missionary and as a disciple of Jesus Christ in ways that I couldn't have thought possible. And I owe a lot to him. So I thank the Lord every day that He communicates with His living prophet to call people like President Nye, to help people like me.
Halloween was really fun. I enjoyed trying to make some food, carving pumpkins, and spending time with the Elders and Sisters in my area. I hope that each of you were able to enjoy Halloween as well.
I want to close by bearing my testimony about church. This 1-3 hour weekly experience has had a more profound effect on me than I can put into the words of the English language. This last week I was reading in Moroni 6. Verses 5, 6, and 9 say "5And the church did meet together oft, to fast and to pray, and to speak one with another concerning the welfare of their souls. 6And they did meet together oft to partake of bread and wine in remembrance of the Lord Jesus. 9And their meetings were conducted by the church arfter the manner of the workings of the Spirit, and by the power of the Holy Ghost; for as the power of the Holy Ghost led them whether to preach, or to exhort, or to pray, or to supplicate, or to sing, even so it was done." I bear testimony of the power of church. I testify that the sacrament that we partake of is blessed by the restored priesthood of God, and that the Spirit which espouses it is as real as you and me. In the restored church of God, we can feel the Spirit more abundantly as we actively participate in pursuing the Lord's will. And don't feel the need to be perfect to go to church. A hospital is for the sick and afflicted, not the whole and perfect. If you have never attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or have failed to attend frequently, go! There is no greater place of healing and peace. I can promise you that you will feel something different and your Spirit will feel at home. If you need the information, message me! I would find nothing but joy in helping you find peace and comfort in your life through church.
