Round 2

Hola! I hope you are doing well. I wanted to take a few moments of your time and talk about how Winchester, Virginia has been treating me. I've officially been here for a whole transfer (6 WEEKS) and it has absolutely flown by. The mission is picking up speed and I'm not too happy about it because I have been loving every second of it.

Big news! Augustina has accepted a baptismal date and is planned to be baptized on the 11th of September. We are so excited for her! She could definitely use a lot of prayers.
After receiving transfer news this last Saturday, my companion Elder Nelson and I will be staying together for one more transfer and we could not be more stoked about it. We have a very large teaching pool right now and the Lord has been blessing us with so many miracles.
The weather has started changing as we enter into the fall season, and we have had a

lot of rain and some temperature drops. It's so nice. I am definitely not excited to get back into the Winter stage though. It gets so cold here in the Winters.
That's about it for new events that are going down! Just to share a quick spiritual thought, every transfer I choose one Christlike attribute to focus on and try to develop. This last transfer I have been focusing on and trying to develop the Christlike attribute of love and charity. As I have come to study it more and more, my studies have oftentimes returned to the attribute of meekness. In the Bible, out of all the characteristics that Christ uses to describe Himself, He oftentimes chooses "meek and lowly in heart" (Matthew 11:29). Meekness is a defining attribute of the Savior. Elder Bednar said that "Meekness is strong, not weak; active, not passive; courageous, not timid; restrained, not excessive; modest, not self-aggrandizing; and gracious, not brash." He has also described meekness as a necessary attribute of the Savior that we should look to develop before any other. I hope and pray each of you will come to recognize the importance of implementing and developing Christlike attributes in your own lives.
