Hola mi familia! I hope all has been well this last week. This last week has been pretty good! We had exchanges on Tuesday so I got to see some of the coolest people ever again. ZL Elder Arnett and STL Hermana Broadbent are such incredible examples to me. I've only got one more week of training and officially 4 months under my belt this week so we are pretty excited!
The weather is finally starting to get really really nice. This week we are moving up into the 70s and we are all super excited. But the thing about spring is that it's always so unpredictable. The weather just seems to change frequently without notice.
The Spanish is coming along! The gift of tongues and the interpretation of tongues are real spiritual gifts and it's incredible to say I've had the chance personally bear witness of the reality of these gifts.
I would close with my testimony that in the season of hope, I know that a perfect and pure hope can come only through Jesus Christ. In the season of His resurrection, we remember life, not death. In life there will always be hope. Ether 12:4 mentions hoping for a better world. For better things to come. I know without a fleeting shadow of a doubt that we are not on this Earth to suffer. Adam fell that man might be and men are that they might have joy. The purpose of this life, as difficult as it may seem, is to find joy. I can promise you that if you can turn to Christ, go to church, read the scriptures, pray, and do all the things you know you have to do, there will be a hope and a joy that will not only appear but replace any doubt, anger, frustration, sadness, or trial.
