Elder Blackburn - qué pasa casa?

     Hola a todos thank you for having some patience with me as I work through my technological issues. The absence of an email last week was because my email was having issues receiving and sending. So I'll try to recap the past two weeks very shortly. 

     Last week we got a bunch of snow in just one day. After that, we've been slowly transitioning into warmer weather and a bunch of pouring rain. But I love spring. There are a bunch of cherry blossoms everywhere and they are all blooming with these most beautiful pink buds and flowers. 

     Over the last couple of weeks there have been some really strong spiritual experiences. I'll bear testimony on them briefly. It's strange how the Lord knows perfectly. How he places specific people into our lives at specific times and they happen to be the exact perfect person you need or you're the perfect person they need. As a missionary it feels like you are led to people who have been waiting for you to come knock on their door. The spiritual direction we can and have received in guidance to those who need the gospel still has me in awe. 

     This past week there have been some amazing sunsets. Just absolutely incredible. I'm grateful for the opportunity I have to live in a world where such beauty exists. 

     Every Friday night we've been playing soccer at the church and it's been one of the highlights of my weeks here in the mission. The Lord blesses us with talents and gifts for the benefit of others, but at the same time I think they're for our enjoyment. If we can find joy in the development of the talents we have, the Lord will bless us with more.
