Hope everything has been going well for each of you. This week has been crazy! Started with valentine's day on Monday and just launched off from there.
Just to start, the weather has been gorgeous here this last week. Monday through Wednesday were cloudy and overcast and just a little bit of rain with temperatures up into the 50s. We're slowly working our way out of the winter which has me so excited for summer.
We've started up soccer every Friday at the church which has been so much fun. If you know me, you know I love soccer. So you can imagine how excited I was to play again.
The big news of this week is that Kevin got baptized on Saturday! We have been so excited for him and I have to say that baptizing him has been a task. He has been to church consecutively 12 times before getting baptized. But we are so excited for him to continue progressing and make advancements towards the temple.
This week was also the first week where I have been able to see and recognize massive improvements in my understanding of the language since entering the field. The gift of tongues is definitely real.
Here are the verses for the week. Alma 36:
26 For because of the word which he has imparted unto me, behold, many have been born of God, and have tasted as I have tasted, and have seen eye to eye as I have seen; therefore they do know of these things of which I have spoken, as I do know; and the knowledge which I have is of God.
27 And I have been supported under trials and troubles of every kind, yea, and in all manner of afflictions; yea, God has delivered me from prison, and from bonds, and from death; yea, and I do put my trust in him, and he will still deliver me.
