Solamente en Español

Hola!
I hope that this email finds each of you well. This past week has been quite eventful. To put it simply, it is our final week in the Provo MTC. Starting on Monday, my district members will be flying all around the country (and Canada) to start their missions. I am scheduled to leave from the SLC airport on Tuesday. The MTC has been an interesting experience. While each day seems to drag on forever, by the end of the week I am always convinced that the fastest week of my entire life had just occurred. Being our final week, the MTC has a challenge they put out called the SYL (Speak Your Language) challenge. Being the last week in the MTC, we are encouraged to speak entirely in the language of our mission without saying a single word of English. For an entire week. I have to say I lasted probably until Tuesday. 😂 We have still spoken a fair amount of Spanish, but I believe we all, myself included, have experienced some serious burnout this week. That being said, I am very very excited to enter the field.
This week has honestly been pretty average in the sense that each day was very very similar. Very repetitious. I have fallen in love with learning Spanish and I hope that I will be able to learn other languages after the mission. Speaking of which, apparently Norwegian is one of the easiest languages to learn as an English speaker. And Norway is dope so there you go.
Alright so I know it hasn't been a super exciting week but I'll wrap up with a spiritual thought. Next week, as the first week in the field, I will have a lot to talk about. My spiritual thought is in Alma 5

27 Have ye walked, keeping yourselves ablameless before God? Could ye say, if ye were called to die at this time, within yourselves, that ye have been sufficiently bhumble? That your garments have been ccleansed and made white through the blood of Christ, who will come to dredeem his people from their sins?
